Forgestar F14 Wheels - Front offset
Hi guys,
I've just placed an order for some 19" Forgestar F14 wheels and I need some advice on the front offset please...
I'm going to run as high an offset as possible on the rear - 19x10 ET50.
I'm just wondering what everyone thinks of running 19x8.5 ET35 at the front? I'd like to have an agressive stance...
Cheers and thanks in advance for any advice!
John

You’re going to push the Forgestar out 16mm further than the stock rim, what size tyre are you intending to use?
The tyre profile could play an important part.

subscribing. I have a set of Kleemann MS-11's sitting in my dinning room the fronts are 19x8.5 with a 35mm offset. They say they will work fine. Won't really know how it looks till spring or so. still unsure on tire sizing but I have months to figure that out.

Will run 245's on the front... Another member here (forgotten who) ran his ET45's with 10mm spacers and the stance looks great. I may end up going for ET40's to be safe... I was just looking for people's thoughts on whether I might run into some trouble.

No doubt it is a good look but your problems may arise when the steering is on full lock. I saw in another thread you are getting coil overs. Lowering the vehicle coupled with the width and depending on the tyre profile you choose, you may cause them to catch.
I don’t know if this would actually occur but when I proposed to do what you are intending, the rim manufacturer advised me against it. If it were me, I’d be doing a lot of measuring of the vehicle to be sure before placing an order. I’d also want the manufacturer to guarantee in writing that the rims will be replaced with suitable offsets if ET35 doesn’t work.

I'm not planning on lowering the car. Keeping it with stock suspension. Do you think I'd have problems then?

Idk if this helps, but the factory ForgeStar offset for the 2010 in 19" is +45 in the front @ 8.5" width and +50 in the rear @ 10" width.

Yeh I know, but from the photos I've seen the +45 at the front looks a little timid. I was hoping for more of an agressive look. I wish there was a member on here who had this set-up

thank you. I am in the process of sourcing tires and that is what I've been wanting to order. My rear offset is ~45 on a 19x10 so we'll see how the 275 goes.
Actually let me ask you this, think you could push your rears out another 5mm without issue? last edit: any shots of the back of your car?

I am running 19x8.5 offset 40 in the front right now. Still slightly conservative and can surely take a 35. I wouldn't go past 35 though.
Regarding the rear, I found the rear end get a little twitchy with 265 tires.on 19x9.5 offset 45 wheels once.

Just to help you out here are 2 more pics of my ET45's in the front with 10MM spacers on a P30 car.....
Its would be safer to go with a more conservative offset, get your ideal tire, and then push it out with a hub-centric spacer if needed.....just in my opinion
