Formula1 vs Llumar tints
Tinting my windows is the first thing I'm going to do on my new white c63. Which brand of tint would look better? I'm going for 35% tints. Pictures would be much appreciated! Thanks

Go for the Formula1 Pinnacle ceramic 35% tint on the four side windows and 30% on the rear as it tends to look a bit lighter. I got this tint a few months ago and am very happy with it. This film does not have a green or blue tint like some other ceramic films, and the heat rejection is phenomenal compared to a dye based tint with the same %. Cost me $400 to have it installed in SoCal.
I can post some pictures when I get home tonight.

"tints would still look different" = "the two tints (films) (f1 and llumar) would still look different", so using "tint" in that sentence wouldn't work.
( also, let's stay on topic instead of turning into English *****! )
I was offered windshield tinting for another $160, but after looking at the film, I decided to stay away from it. I don't want anything to obstruct my vision through the windshield, even if it's "crystal clear". Also, the film can potentially get scratched up over time, further affecting visibility. I think the windshield tint was 5 or 8% and was called "air blue".

Here are the pictures as promised. 35% Formula 1 Pinnacle ceramic tint on four side windows, 30% on rear window.
Edit: I think I got a 40% tint, and not the 35% as I thought. I wanted 35%, but the shop only had 30 and 40. I'll look at the receipt and confirm. The difference between the two films is minimal, so it shouldn't look much different from what I have.

Thank you very much. The tint on your car looks awesome but I would definitely go with the 30% or 35% if available.

30% would also look good, hut I didn't want to push my luck in Cali. Anything on the front side windows is illegal here, so the darker the tint, the more likely you are to get pulled over for it. The good thing about the ceramic tint is that it does not have to be really dark to reject a lot of heat unlike dye based films.
Good luck with the tint! Post some pictures of new car when you take delivery!
