Supersprint headers

I have a 2010 C63 PP+ and have ordered Supersprint headers and metallic cats, as these are the only ones that com with TÜV certificates, which we need for street vehicles. I have read a lot about these, but there are not many around. The headers arrived yesterday, the cats will be coming in the beginning of january. I will post more when the parts are on the car. Then in spring i will get a customised software, so there is more to come...

Welcome to MBWorld!
Be very careful running headers without a tune to match. At WOT you will most likely be VERY lean, just a word of caution.

Good luck with your mod choices.

I paid around €2300 for the headers and €2000 for the cats, but I have special 200cell WRC cats from HJS, as they last longer than the standard 200cell HJS cats, Supersprint is normally using.

Do you know how long the regular 200 cell HJS cats last and how long the WRC ones last? What's the difference?

That should not happen with these cats.
The cats are actually 200cell HF+ Cats which have a WRC homologation and are OBD compatible because of similiar filterling capabilities as the original ones. That is why they are also TÜV compatible and work without a tune. Obviously a matched tune will come soon.
I had a SLS on the autobahn in front of me yesterday. We accelerated hard from around 100-240km/h and he did not gain more than 3-5m on me. So either my C63PP+ goes very well or the SLS don´t go as well as it is always stated.
The parts will be monunted this week.
I will post more when they are mounted.

That cannot be said. In general these cats have a PE-Foil which is more resistant against higher temperatures, i.e. misfirings, etc.
these are commonly used in motorsports

IIRC I read on this forum that Evosport stopped carrying supersprint products due to quality control issues (I believe with the welds). Keep an eye out, otherwise good luck!

I have read that in this forum for the first time. Many tuners in Europe have their exhaust systems done by Supersprint and in Europe they are said to have the best quality. Hamann, Sportec, Techart, Kelleners, G-Power etc. have their systems built by them

Regardless I wish you the best of luck. Maybe contact evosport directly as they seem to have the direct info on whatever QC problems there were.

Good luck!

Here is the first quick video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWzRPYp2Is8
It sounds totally mad, but I think I will have to get the rest of the supersprint stuff, which will make the sound a little deeper and softer, because like this I will get trouble with the police, here in germany :-)
Interesting is, that the Supersprint exhaust has 2x70mm tubes which go through to the back.
