So long MBWorld
Sometime today or tomorrow my new 911 Carrera GTS will arrive and my C63 will be no more. Like all cars I've enjoyed, I will miss the AMG, but I have been itching to get back into a 911 ever since I traded my 2007.
I will troll MBWorld occasionally, but you'll never miss me since I tend to lurk most of the time anyhow. Keep enjoying these cars, and hope to see some of you (*cough* Chappy *cough*) sometime soon on a curvy mountain drive.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Congrats, nice way to start the new year.
You won't miss much around here... seems every thread ends in a predictable "mine's bigger" contest.

You will be back, I went to other forums with my GT3 (traded my C32 up for it) then I came back. Benzs are just to sweet and P cars as daylies suck.

WOW!! what a beautiful car bro. I once had a Porsche, it was a 911(964) Carrera 4 Cabriolet and I loved it. Been looking on and off for the same car but I have been hooked to Subarus and Evos instead. Eventually I will find a used 993 at a reasonable price(doubt it).
Anyways, enjoy your bad a- s-s new ride.

Congrats on the car. P cars are not for everyone but if you missed yours, then you will enjoy this one even more
I had a 997S tuned before I got the C and I sold the P car because I was missing the torque feeling from the V8 and the instant power of a good V8. I had vettes and Audi S4 before.
You have to work hard on the P car to get the power out but obviously you like it.
It sure does look better than a C.

Re: p-cars as daily drivers, I think they are excellent. The ride is compliant and much like my C63 when on the street, but not all that weight or slushbox (honestly, the only two things I really dislike about MB's) when you don't want it. I only need enough space to ferry my two kids to daycare; beyond that and we take the Odyssey.
No need, my friend...at least no more than I envy my f-car owner friends.
My car will look exactly like the press photos. We looked at red (my original C2S order), yellow (my '07), black, blue, grey, and Porsche racing green - I didn't think any looked as good as white with the black centerlock wheels.
