Well they finally arrived.
The quality of each piece is really nice, not your run of the mill hat shop runoff.
AMG Private Lounge tags inside and the whole bit, with Daimler/Germany marked on the tag.
The decals are really nice too.
The hat is a little stiff for my liking (kinda that old man/trucker style)--it'll probably sit on the bookshelf in my office, but I love AMG stuff.
PLus I already have an AMG hat I got at the dealer!(I snapped a pic side by side)

Oh well you can't beat the price--saw a white one on the PL, they look really nice too, I should have got a white one since I had my other black one already.

I put the PL sticker above the Daimler sticker on the lower passenger side of the windshield.

I might put mine on the driver's window, but i'll probably end up not putting it on the car because I'm ****

I was thinking about putting one on my company truck and possibly my wife's bimmer (although I think we're gonna get a new Benz for her, that's a whole other thread)

If you're still having issues, you should be able to write them an e-mail at this address (marketing-amg@daimler.com) and explain your situation. The PL website wouldn't recognize my VIN either why I first tried. I think because the car was an overseas purchase. But, after a couple of correspondence e-mails, they recognized my VIN, registered me internally and came back to me with a good password giving me access to the lounge.

If you just take the time to be cordial and explain your situation, I'm sure they'll accommodate you. My contact was very receptive.

I was a slacker, I just registered today (bought car about 5 months ago.. not sure how long they keep VIN numbers on record, although I went through the link my dealer sent me way back when)...

Now.. how do I get in on this deal.. I want a hat too damnit (could care less about the decal.. I do not put any stickers or decals on my cars, for any reason, other then the parking lot decal I am required to use sometimes)
