Nice video but man that radio traffic inside the car was annoying. And that C63 was not hangin with that SLS...plus the SLS driver was pretty crappy, he missed just about every apex while the C63 driver was hitting them all and still getting pulled away from.

It's the instructor talking in German, telling everyone what corner is coming up and what gear they should be in. Which explains the tight formation and the C63 being able to hang with a SLS. C63 was driven by an instructor, SLS by a student.

No doubt - especially on a track like the 'Ring, which has one corner after another. The more experienced driver in an inferior car will beat the more powerful car with an inexperienced driver every time. The better driver will just fill the other guys mirrors until he breaks his concentration and it's all over. That's just on the way up before the course changes to the fast downhill section. That's the part where you not only need skills, but also a big attachment between your legs . Some of those guys kind of grew up at the 'Ring and know it like the back of their hands. It takes quite some time to memorize 150+ turns.

Hello guys and thanks for calling me "instructor" ^^
i was the guy in the C-Class...Instructor was driving in the first car not in picture...
The difference between the C and the SLS is huge...if you put equal drivers iin both cars the C-Class of course has no chance at all
Theres a difference of 100hp but most important: the C-Class will understeer und do some nice tire squeeeching while the SLS can allready apply throttle and pull away.
The SLS is much more stable...at high speed "jumps" like the Schwedenkreuz where the car gets loose at 180km/h the C-Class has a very nervous rear axle while the SLS drives like a train on its track...
I replaced the standard suspension with a KW-Clubsport suspension and hope this will help...
I'll post some more video if i find the time...

I like how you take your C63 to the limit at the Ring, you would make a great candidate for that C63 vs M3 thing in Texas......

This is hands down one of the best driving Ive seen on the Nurburgring.
Great battle between a 996 GT2 vs Catherham R500

This one is a very heated battle between a Dodge viper GT3 VS Porsche 997 GT3 on the "Ring". Amazing driving from both drivers.

Nothing like the sound of a straight cut gearbox!! I'm surprised that porsche had the legs to keep up with the viper and pass him at the end of the back straight
Some very nice driving indeed - especially the other slower drivers. It can be pretty frantic when your on track with cars that much faster than you - gotta use those mirrors!!!!
