My wipers are making me crazy
I have done everything I can think of but the wipers keep bouncing:
Clean windshield with carwash soap, dish soap, windex, rubbing alcohol, orange solvent.
Clean blades with the all of the above
Treat blades with dish soap (that keeps them from drying just in case that is the problem), with silicone grease
Replace blades.
All of the above solutions work for about an hour, then bonce all over.
No other car has done this to me. This is socal so it isn't like much else other than rain is going on anyway...
I am starting to think it is a w204 broblem.
Help me please. I am crying

There is a problem with mechanism of wipers. Usually they are attached at a pulley. I am thinking they were fabriacted off a bit and it can cause a problem that is multiplied. You may need it seen by dealer to take mechanism apart and re-instal new parts. Sorry about the problem.

I have a similar problem and my car is only a couple of months old.
The Mercedes dealer told me to book it in as they are apparently adjustable, seems like a common problem.

I had a minor skipping problem and used Aquapel. The skipping went away and I don't need to use the wipers as often on highways. You can also try Rain-X.

Everything you are trying is leaving the glass surface too squeaky clean and dry and the blades are sticking. You need something to reduce the friction between the blades and glass so that they can glide across the surface yet still remove the surface contamination and water drops.
