Been awhile - looking for a part no. please

I want to paint or wrap the front grill - Im just going to buy another one so i dont have to leave the car anywhere or drive without a grill.

Can someone tell me the correct part no. for a 2009 C63 Front grill? Im assuming the piece that attaches to the hood comes with it?

TIA

Not the answer you want but wrapping the grill and star took me about an hour and a half so you could do it and not have to park it for more than 2 without it.

Oh I guess thats an option then - My tint guy actually said he would do it. Any pics u care to share?

I plan to wrap everything BUT the Star. Id like to see some pics of matte vs gloss.

And what wrap did u use? 3M?

Have you tried plasti-dip?

I am thinking of doing it in the spring. Removable.

I removed the 4 chrome pieces in the grille and had them painted gloss black. Thinking about also painting the surround and leaving the star chrome.

the gloss looks nice - i thisnk it would look much nicer in all black with the exception of just the star (and the ring around the star)

+1

I used plasti-dip on my grill and it's really nice product, but the good thing it ca be removed and it doesn't get chip like paint.

Thanks man - I just ordered the grill itself - figured I can detach that trim piece for them to paint and driving without it wont be an issue. Just dont want to drive with no grill.

For those that are curious - part no. for the grill itself is

204 880 1083 ($300)

that little trim piece is $105!

Did the same pattern with matte black (vinyl), looks good (and different from a fully blacked out grill)!
