So I've owned my 09' C350 for a year and a half. Love the car...the only thing I wish it had was 200+ more HP and an AMG badge. I'm hunting for the perfect deal on a lightly used c63. My question: how hard should I be looking for a "certified" pre owned. Should being certified or not be a deal-breaker for me or should I just find a relatively low mileage 09-10' that seems to have been well taken care of. Any input would be fantastic. Thanks!

I will be selling my 2010 in April-June. Black/black with 5k miles. If you are interested let me now. It has warranty until September 2014.

It is preferable to get a AMG that is certified or has a warrenty. The thing with owning an AMG is that their very expensive to repair. And parts cost more than your average Mercedes. As an CPO car, you will have the remainder of the factory warranty and 1 more additional year as a Certified Pre-Owned car. For example say the car is an 09 C63, the OEM warranty will expire in 2013, Mercedes adds an aditional year as a CPO car, so your car is now warranteed til 2014. With the CPO car you will be much better off, in the long run.

I would definitely look for a Certified Pre-Owned C63. Becasue you never know, the previous owner could have been a maniac!
