Sweat & our leather seats

So how many of you sit inside your nice leather C63 seats after sweating from a workout? (Gym, running, etc..)

I take Kickboxing & i always go in my wife's Escalade. Yesterday she was out with my 2 year old son & was not going to make it in time to the house before my class began. So i ended up going in my AMG!

I come out of my Kickboxing classes sweating like a ***** in church, so i was freaking out about my clothes leaving sweat on my seats. I ended up taking two towels. A big one to cover my entire seat & smaller one to hold over the steering wheel (boxing gloves stink, and then so do my hands, lol)

So there i was driving home with my seat & stearing wheel covered in towels. Am i the only one here that is this **** about his car? I hope not, lol.

Actually the seats are one area of the car that really show wear and tear. The outside edges especially, from going in and out, always seem to create vains in the leather. I always try not to drag in but "lift and sit" if that makes sense. So, to answer your question, no, its not just you. What color is your interior?

Butt Sweat is never a good thing. It's toxic under any circumstance. Keep it away from your seat and your poor wife for crying out loud...

I never sweat in my leather seats. I bring a blanket to cover the seat. The smell of test stays in the air of the car is nothing is done to prevent it.

just find some good leather conditioner. I usually condition my seats (at least the drives) once a week. 30k miles and still looks like new.

It's best to cover the sweats, over time the salt from your sweat will start to harder the butter soft leather, if its not treated. And you are not the only one that does this, as I do it too.

I always wear my leather gloves when I drive my car, especially since I got P31 and don't want to mess up the wheel too much.

Towels on the seat are a must after exercising.

I always wear gloves when I drive, regardless of exercising or not. Keep a few white cotton gloves in the glove compartment (the compartment is for gloves, hence the namesake). Black cotton ones look cool and make you look less of a chauffeur than the white ones but they can be warmer if the sun hits your hands. Leather driving gloves are great, but they have to be professionally cleaned periodically. I also have Nomex racing gloves without leather/suede pads on them (the lack of leather allows them to be more easily cleaned), but when people see me driving with those they get scared and confused.

Off topic: I always wonder what kind of gloves was that in some of the photo shoot for the C63 from AMG. It sort of looks like a racing glove that turned inside out. Will be great if I can get a hold of a pair.

Your all crazy.. I sit my *** down after the gym (I change my clothes at least). Only time I put something down is when I have wet shorts from swimming..

I also eat in my car *OH NO.... HOW COULD HE.. BURN HIM AT THE STAKE*

The only time I wear gloves, is when I put on my helmet, and tell my passenger "Today is a good day to die" then slam on the throttle

It feels awesome, but I don't want to get it dirty.
