MBH X pipe / GT Pro X and XX Pipe
Just wondering who has experience with any of these products.
I have a completely stock exhaust and am looking at getting one of the above mentioned X Pipes (I intend this to be my only exhaust mod and am more interested in low-mid range power rather than peak).
Could someone please clarify, the supposed difference between the GT Pro X and XX pipes besides the obvious that the pipes merge once in the X and twice in the XX.
My aim is to install the X Pipe without having to cut or weld, so it remains easily reversable. If any cutting is required could you let me know what has to be cut and how hard it is to reinstall the secondary cats after such a procedure.
Any comments or experience with either of these products by GT Pro and MBH would be greatly appreciated. ie performance, quality, fitment....
Many thanks in advance and apologies for the long post.

You will have to make one cut in the driver's side pipe between the primary and secondary cat with either system. To reverse you will need to slip a piece of larger pipe over with a couple of claps, weld a bump-up onto the secondary cat pipe and clamp or weld the secondary cat pipe back in.
_AMG_ has the MBH X and loves it. Superlubricity had the GT Pro X and did a great write up on it. Search under their user names for more info. The MBH sounds like it might be the better piece but I have no personal experience with it.

Hey SYMES1515 I know in my PM I said you had to make the cut on the passenger side exhaust but I was mistaken. The cut needs to be made on the drivers side as Mort stated. Its a very simple straight forward cut and bolt on procedure.
Here is a pic on were the cut needs to be.
*note: this is not a pic of my exhaust*

I made this video demonstrating the true sound of the MBH X pipe. This is with resonator delete.
