New rims - opinions.
I am thinking of getting the ADV7's for my car in brushed gunmetal. I have had a hard time trying to find a perfect match and want to be sure if I'm going to spend the $$. I am from Edmonton so I actually drove to Calgary to see the color in person next to my car. The Tenorite grey on my car almost looks "blueish" in certain lights next to the Gunmetal rims, but I did not want black or a bright silver. At first it threw my off, but it started to really grow on me. I'll try attach a pic they sent me which is photoshopped. The difference is my car has the P31pkg so red brake cal.
The file they sent me won't load on here to show the photoshop!? Dam

Got it....photoshopped pic but as I said he did it on a car without red Brake cal. It looks good here but in person its not as "perfectly" matched like this....but close. I thought about the HRE40's but I preferred the style of this rim. I know they're close but this rim side by side the HRE40 was a better match IMO.

Sucks to see they used your car pic w/o your permission super!! As for the gunmetal, it looks great on steel grey... no need for a perfect match, the little difference in shade makes them stand out more.

Yah I'm think I'm almost sold....except for the cost?! They want $5400 for the set (CAN). And I agree the more I think about it the more the contrast would look good...it was just surprising to see the blue color pop out of my car when side by side with a true Gunmetal grey.
As for the pic it was a guy at Tunerworks In Calgary Alberta that sent me that photoshopped pic. I would get the ADV's through them.

No I'm not a fan boy of ADV....in fact I also looked at HRE'e which are also extremely expensive. I've done a lot of research and HRE / ADV etc are probably top tier as far as quality and finish. You get what you pay for.

I was thinking of the HRE's 40's and had them side by side with the ADV7 which is a close match to that rim....however the lines of the ADV were more crisp and straight? IMO.
