Will my HREs off my E55 fit a C63
Hello Everyone,
Just to warn you, I am a little bit of a novice.
Nonetheless, I have a set of 20" HRE M40s in matte black that were originally on my 2004 E55 and I was wondering if anyone knew if they would fit a C63.
The fronts are 245-30-20 and the wheels are 8.5 inches wide.
The rears are 285-25-20 and the wheels are 10.5 inches wide.
Thoughts?
Also, I apologize if I posted this in the incorrect forum.
Thank you for the assistance in advance.
Best,
Dan

I doubt they will fit unless you have a major pull on your rear fenders, 10.5 in the back is too wide... unless you have high 50mm offset.

I have seen those sizes work with the C63.
The main question is, would the offsets be compatible with the C63?
Do you know what the offsets are?
The offsets on my M40's are
+35 front
+45 rear

My Radenergies off my E55 didnt fit my C63, took them to forum member, and sponsor B. Gorman. He rebuilt them for my C63, and they fit perfectly.
Wheels off an E55 will not fit without modification.
Reach out to Bill. He'll hook you up, and make the wheels fit your ride.

I doubt 10.5" will fit on rear without modification to rear guards. I have HRE M40 9.5" on rear with 285/25 Pirelli's and they are right out to the guards with no space at all. I have heard of people running 10" rear but have had to flare the rear guards if car is lowered. Maybe Mr Gorman could modify them to suit.

I have an offset of 51 on the rear.
Check out pics here https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...re-wheels.html
After coilovers were installed and lowered, I am on the limit as wheels are right out to edge of guards. No room left at all
