2011 C63 AMG
Picked up my C63 today
Hello, I am new to the forum. I just picked up my 2011 C63 AMG yesterday. Black on Black premium AMG seating, Multimeadia, all the goodies but the Development Package Coming from a 2008 BMW 335XI. All I can say is WOW. This car is an absolute beast and I couldnt be happier.

I drove manual since I had it at 200mi. Just dont stay at above 4500 rpm for more than a second until broken in of course(manual recommendations). Warm it up quick through casual driving. Not recommended to idle more than 5 min. at a time. Once you hit 175f, you may punch it. Oil change at 1k mi. Don't get duped into paying for differential fluid change at 2k mi. unless you have LSD. I don't understand how a tech can charge for something that he can not do. Isn't that illegal? OT: Enjoy the beast! Hope this helps.

I came from an e92 335i with Procede and a few other mods. That car had some great low-mid range power but ran out at redline and in the top end. My c63 with a tune and an x-pipe is a much faster car. That being said, the power is harder to put down in the first 3 gears but on the highway I have no doubt the C63 would have eaten my 335's lunch.

Well congratulations and "Welcome to the AMG Family".
I'm glad that you migrated from the dark side, and was enlightened about ///AMG
One note, be prepared to buy new rear tires in about 6 months I got 7200 miles out of mine, that I just replaced last Saturday

Welcome to the AMG family. I've been here a month or so for myself and I can say this community is really awesome (great source of information delivered in a respectful way... not the case sometimes on some forums!)
My break in period is almost over now (1250 km out of 1500!!). I will schedule for my oil chage in a couple of weeks!
Congrats on the beast... black on black is always a winner!
