How to keep the rumble after cold start?
Guys, we all love our C63's bark dring a cold start and the rumbles it produces, but all mellow out to a purr after a few seconds. I would like to know is there's a way to keep the rumbling during idle? That would be awesome. Thanks

Remove the cats and resonators as a first step. Still not happy then go with headers.

I think it's enough if you delete your 2nd cat at first and drive it around for a few days. It gets louder each day. If that's not enough - delete the resonator.

Probably a NOOB question but hey gotta ask sometime - How do i remove the secondary cats and resonator? Is it an easy procedure? Does it take long? is it legal?

You can either get a shop to do straight pipes or buy an X-pipe from vendors (fluid or ronalsales) to replace secondary cats. It will cost you either a few hundred or less than $1K.
If not loud enough, consider downpipes from vendors above or headers (see stickies for vendors).
The cold bark with headers or downpipes needs to be heard at least once in your lifetime . It is awesome.
None of this is a "do it yourself" unless you have a lift and the proper tools.

My friends say my 66 sounds like "Hot For Teacher" intro.

Going by Mike it seems Cams are the way to go...

Thanks for all the inputs, guys
I will delete the secondary cats and resonators and see from there. Thinking about changing headers but it's a RHD car and not too many manufacture makes one for RHD

Like dodge63 said, that won't doing anything for your warm idle. It will make the car louder under acceleration, but at cruise and idle, the car will sound the same as stock. I know the rumble you are after, and the only thing I think will change this are cams.
