Ordering a 2011 C63 AMG input needed

Hi all,
I will be placing a deposit for a 2011 C63 AMG, and have a few questions that I can hopefully get your input on.

1. I'm thinking the white with the Red/Black interior, would this go together well? Would doing the extended leather make it too tacky?

2. I know the P31 package has been debated to death, my question is for those of you that have it, is it pretty noticeable for a daily driver?

3. The LSD isn't a package online, is that something you have to talk to your dealer about personally?

4. Does anyone have any idea when the website will update for the 2012 C63 build?

5. Being in minnesota, I don't plan on driving the car in the winter, how would one go about winterizing the car?

6. I've got 500 dollars over invoice deal on the whole car excluding the guzzler tax and delivery, is this a good deal or should I push for more?

7. The blind spot assist and the lane departure assist, specifically the lane departure assist, will this interfere with performance driving say on a track? Any info would be great.

Thank you all!

1. I'm thinking the white with the Red/Black interior, would this go together well? Would doing the extended leather make it too tacky?

No, in fact, this is my second favorite combo after Blue + beige.

2. I know the P31 package has been debated to death, my question is for those of you that have it, is it pretty noticeable for a daily driver?

Not for streets but on the highway you will notice.

3. The LSD isn't a package online, is that something you have to talk to your dealer about personally?

LSD has its own option code. My sig. has the code but I don't remember which one.

4. Does anyone have any idea when the website will update for the 2012 C63 build?

No clue, the official MBUSA site has always been very slow to update.

5. Being in minnesota, I don't plan on driving the car in the winter, how would one go about winterizing the car?

Snow tires is a must, and we have quite a bit of folks here from Canada and northern europe so they can chip in to this question.

6. I've got 500 dollars over invoice deal on the whole car excluding the guzzler tax and delivery, is this a good deal or should I push for more?

Push for more and try to get at least invoice price.

7. The blind spot assist and the lane departure assist, specifically the lane departure assist, will this interfere with performance driving say on a track? Any info would be great.

No clue other then being extra weight. From what I have read, for normal driving, those options tend to give off quite a bit off false alarms. So unless you like to take long road trips, I will skip those 2 options.

Hope this helps,
Sheep

thanks!

from my understanding invoice is roughly msrp - 7% correct?

Also, if I dont plan to drive the car during the winter, do I need to winterize the car at all? it will be in a heated garage.

Thanks agian.

Invoice is more like 8%; military discount / Dealer holdup can get it down to 10%; dealer bottomline is like 12% off MSRP. And if you don't plan on driving it during winters, then there is really no need to do anything other then standard up keep like charge the battery.

The 2012 Coupe 63 is at least available to "build" at the german MB website. Can't be too long before it reaches the rest of the world as well.

Just got mine last Tuesday. It had a list price of $74,245. Invoice was $69,900. I paid $2,500 back of invoice, or $67,400.

My car, as far as options go, has the carbon fiber interior trim, lighting package, AMG premium leather package, heated seats, keyless go, rear view camera, multi media package, and the metallic paint "palladium silver."

To be honest, getting near invoice for a new car, that has a decent waiting list is a good deal.

Sorry, I just realized my title says 2011, should be 2012.

I've priced my car out as my dealer sent me the PDF file that has the pricing and list of options for 2012. My question is should I be adding the destination and gas guzzler tax to the total price I want to present to the dealer? Does anyone have any information on what the Media Interface is?

For some reason I priced out the 2012 (with the LSD) and it came out 2000 dollars less than the 2011 (without the LSD)

Not sure if I need to add both seating packages if I get the red/black leather seating?

Thanks

Also, does the rearview camera include the parktronics package?

We don't have winter storage issues, but if left for any extended length of time I'd get it up on jack stands so you don't flat spot the tires. I'd also fire it up and let it run well into operating temp once a month.

Great, could you by any chance recommend any jacks you recommend? Also, noob here, but I've heard that leaving the car on jacks for a while is not optimal for the suspension, is this true? Otherwise I could just back it up and forward a little everyday, not sure if that would make that much of a difference.
