Go back to the dealership and tell them "I dont give a $&%^ what you've heard, I want it fixed!!!!!"
Ive had a lot of problems with MB service departments so far and Im about at my wits end with them. I just laid into those lazy *******s last time and guess what. Problem solved.

While I haven't completely lost sat service, I have noticed that it drops the signal for a few seconds quite often when nothing seems to be obstructing it (ie, tunnels, bridges, etc.). Just a very minor annoyance. Maybe it's working itself up to a total failure.

Have the same problem " no service"
Sirius rep said it was the last MB update and that supposedly by Monday it should be fixed with two more updates from MB. He said one update should be 2 min long the 2nd 4 min
Who the h*ll knows if he was blowing smoke up my chimney or it's true

Same problem here. No service. Rep said it was a software update issue, and that they were working on it. No solution as of yet. Hopefully this changes soon. I hate paying for service, and not having it.

Same "No Service" problem here, since last Friday.
I don't understand, is this a Sirius software update or a MB software update. Doesn't it have to be a Sirius software update because MB has no way of pushing updates remotely (or do they)?

I talked to both Sirius and my Mercedes dealer, both are aware of the issue because a lot of people have been calling about it. Sirius says they are working on a solution and expect to have one within 48 hrs. I am skeptical but will be patient for now.

The whole system is line of sight, meaning that your antenna needs a clear line to the sky to receive a signal. Any obstruction, and you lose your signal. Happens to me all the time. Sometimes, when you get a no service indication for an extended period of time, Sirius/XM might need to send you a activiation signal again. That has happened on several occasion since I had the service dating back to 07. And recently they changed your channel line up, so I had to reprogram all but two stations. I have thought about cancelling the service since I listen to Pandora more in my C63. Will probably keep it for the E63, since its COMAND does have as many media options as the C63.

My C's went out in Jan or Feb, a regular C Class. They had to replace the Sirius module. Just took a few hours.
My SLK however has had an issue for a long time that *certain* channels ONLY cut out intermittently. They have me setup to get new module, but it was out of stock.
However, after this update on Wednesday to the channel lineup, I think it might be better. Some channels are popping on me though. ha.

Today our Sirius radio got stock in the updating data mode and stayed there. We were listening at the time and that we were receiving, NPR, is still coming through, but we cannot control in any way the interface. No changing of channels, etc. that is all absent from the screen except the updating message. Sirius claimed they have had a lot of people calling about the problem and are working on a fix. Our radio never had a problem before today. Anyone else have this happen today or recently?

Look at the link to this other forum, i think they figured it out. Im so annoyed by this im taking my car into the dealer for the 5th time today, they have replaced the sirus part of the radio and still doesnt work. Btw dont call sirus its a waste of time and they suck (on the level of comcast). Read this it should help.
