I didn't wanna make a thread, but I'm trying to order these tires http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=265 and was wondering if this is the correct up size from the factory 255?

Also are these the same tire most of you have been positive about or is there another 555 Drag radial? I hope all you experts can chime in. Thanks

That is a street tire. You want the 285/35-18 NT555R Drag Radial.

Look here -> https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-2010-c63.html

Yeah I don't think i should get the DR since the wife will be driving sometimes. Maybe in the rain and whatnot. Are these still good for grip or should i go with Ventus v12 http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=265 ? I'm really looking for an all around tire that will stick and be decent in wet conditions.

Doesn't sound like a DR is for you.

There are a ton of tire threads on this site and many tires that will get you what you want.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2--best tire I've had on my car to date. -> https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-2010-c63.html

Yeah I'm not looking to spend too much over 200 each. So I guess it's really between the Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance or Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110. Any suggestions between the two?

Drag Radials (Nitto, MT, BFG, etc.) are all Street Legal and DOT certified. Even the super-slick Hoosiers carry the DOT stamp.
