i have no doubt that they are new. but are they serviceable. looks like somebody played forklift hockey with them in the warehouse. you would think for what we pay for rotors you would get something that at least looked new.

My guess, the scrapes are from another rotor that was against it during shipping. The off coloring is just steel being steel, and them sitting in a warehouse for some time...

What your seeing is just the coating on the rotors, the rest of it will be removed onced installed and you brake for the first time. This actually is one of the ways you are assured that your getting new rotors. I would be more concerned if you ordered from the dealer and it didn't have this coating on it.

Unfortunately, these are how the rotors come from the OEM. The are coated by a rust inhibitor, that's the gray coat. There is nothing wrong with these rotors in my opinion, and I would put them on my car.

Yea I looked at there website but couldn't tell if they were the same and the pricing really didn't match. Can or as anyone purchase 2-piece rotors through them instead of evosport? They might have better stock and prices.

There is another company called www.racingbrake.com that offers two piece rotors for the C63 and E63.

I have looked at my rotors when car was brand new and I remember seeing imperfections on the outer edge of the rotors like the second picture. It is what it is I guess.

There's nothing wrong with these rotors, these are fine. This is what the rotors look like from the factory. Every rotor will have some small imperfections. Their not $6K carbon ceramic rotors

Hopefully, he will have some good feedback for the rest of us, that our interested in these brakes. If the outcome is favorable, I might buy a set for my E63. Although I still favor the evosport, but the waiting time is like forever
