Sunday Rant!

I decided to spend this gorgeous sunday washing and cleaning my car. I noticed that I only had half a tank of gas and decided to fill it up (I'm OCD like that). How the hell does half a tank of gas cost $45 dollars??? Before the haters come here and give me grief about what I'm driving, I know I drive a gas guzzler. Is there something wrong with my gas gauge? 10 gallons used at half tank? Does that mean the other half the gauge only represents 7.5 gallons?

Ha, Im the same way. The second my gas light comes on, Im at a pump cause im ocd about that. premium is at 4.10 to 4.30 us dollars in my area right now. I figured up that it costs me 9 dollars to drive to the office and back. and my office isnt that far away lol.

plus, since i just got a tune on the car, im having troubles keeping my foot out of it. i cant believe i havent gotten popped yet.

actually, I almost did a few days ago and i wasnt even going fast. like 75 in a 60. lucky for me the guy behind me got popped. good thing he didnt tag me back around that curve

I have noticed this as well, and not just my c63, but all the cars I have had in the past. The gauge will stay full for the first 1/4 to half a tank and then start to drop.

It's an optical delusion or your flux capacitor needs new antimatter recharge.

the top 1/4 of your tank includes what's filled beyond the "max" level of the gauge (for example what is in the tube leading into your tank from the outside of the car)

that's why you perceive it is going faster at bottom. I've filled over 65L in my "55L" tank.
