Yeah, thats what I heard. I never dynoed on a dyndynamics. I have a friend with a solid C63 and I was surprised when he told me that he only made 420 at the wheels, but then he mentioned this dynodynamics and how it dynos less. I hope someone can answer me

What do you mean by "solid"? 420 to the wheels for a stock C63 is high. I don't remember what I dynoed on DD but it was really low, but if you use the avg of 20% loss it should be around 390ish

It is not stock. I never said it was stock. It got an ECU tune+ Headers+ Air filter+ X pipe. It is also a fast C63, It murders the stock C63

My car dynoed at 356hp on Dyno Dynamics with 2ndary cat delete and no tune. Maybe this would be a good reference to compare with the Dynojet.

Dyno numbers work best if you compare mods before and after installation. You dyno the car before you install a particular mod and then dyno it again (at the same place on the same dyno) after you install the mod in question. This would give you a nice comparison of how much power that specific mod contributed.

This question is, unfortunately, very hard to answer. In general, Dyno Dynamics machines read about 10% to 12% lower than Dyno Jet machines. However, the operator can add a correction factor in Dyno Dynamics to make the numbers read like a Dyno Jet. Some shops choose to add a 10% correction factor, others choose to add 15% while others add 12%. So as you can see, the numbers vary greatly. I can make a dyno read whatever I want. For instance, I have dynoed my car at a Mustang Dyno, which is also known as a heart-breaker dyno, and the car showed 503 rwhp at 100% stock I wish that was the case, but we both know that is impossible

I don't know, that was my friend's , he just getting the baseline.
Recently after tune & remove the cat & resonator, he get 369 whp
Our dyno reads very low, around 30% less than crank (100 hp engine would read 70 whp)
Maybe the alternator/motor has worn out or need calibration.
Anyway we just use the dyno to get "before & after" comparison.

I got dynoed at 352PS using dyno dynamics.
It was a total stock C63 PP Plus. The dyno guy said he could only use up the 4th gear cause of some settings...does it make a difference?
Was kind of disappointed with the results, but is this the correct range using dyno dynamics? thks.

The specs say that the PPP has 487 PS (metric hp) which is equivalent to 481 bhp (ratings we use here in the US). Now the actual drivetrain loss percentage is hard to determine, but in general, many aftermarket companies (at least here in the U.S.) seem to accept/use the loss percentage amount of 18% to 20%. So in your case, 481 bhp - 19% would yield 389 whp. Also, please don't forget that on the dyno the numbers will vary a little depending on weather conditions, elevation, strength of the dyno fans, exhaust fans, cooling between runs, error margins, etc... so don't expect exact numbers, as it won't be realistic.

I Just ran my 2012 C63 Coupe last night on a Dyno Dynamics, my car is completely stock, I haven't done a thing to it. She pulled to 389.9 at the wheel. It's always run really quick, I'm very happy with the results and hoping to learn more about how I should begin modding it.
