Hi To you all, hope youre all doing well?

Quick one been to the main dealer for servicea nd advised that the Sunroof was squeaking upon closing only? They have not fixed the squeak?

Its such a pain inn the *** to take back to them, can any of you guys advse where to lubrucate the chain or pulley system.

Mine has been squeaking horribly as well.. I would also like know where to grease the squeakyness to death..

same here - it squeaks on the tilt function for me - not the sliding function. Id like to know too - and what type of lubricant as well.

is this a 2008-2009 thing? mine is pretty smooth, though i dont open it very much. id actually prefer not to have a sun roof.

probably something that develops over time as the lubricant wears - mine is an '09

This was a constant issue in my 06 G35 coupe...no matter how much silicone lubricant the dealer sprayed (which they managed to get on my leather EVERY TIME I brought my car in for service), the squeaking never left.

I haven't had this issue on my '09 yet (just hit 10K)...and I hope not to anytime soon!

My 09' doesn't squeek but it would click pretty loud when it would close. The dealer replaced the bracket assembly of some type. Problem solved.
