Congrats! Great looking car, and the bare necessity interior is right up my alley. The way the car handles reminds me of my 993's - very agile and a little nervous in fast sweepers. It's really a lot of fun to drive ..... I might have to get one for myself

Its really my buddies car. If it came in Laguna Seca Blue. I would have one on order. The white, and black just dont work on this car, and he has Orange.

The interior is quite nice, basically reg 1, but orange stiching, black suede accents. "M" gauge cluster.

Nav system is wonderful!!

I agree. I had an E46 M3 in LSB, think its the most fitting color for the two. If i could get this car in lsb, it be on order asap. I even asked, if i could do an Individual Order, they said the 1M is the only car BMW wont allow Individual Color orders..

fact is A 1M is a great car. If BMW put an M badge it has to deliver the goods. (ok M6 coupe is so so)is 1M more of a drivers car than a c63 IMO. like gt3 versus 911 turbo. They would probably be neck to neck on a track maybe a small advantage to a 1M. the only thing about the 1M is that the rear end just looks jacked in the air IMO. the rear bumber looks like its 2 feet off the ground. In straight line the c63 will eat it. tought about switching my c63 for an M1 but I would miss the sound of my V8 barking too much. this being said , the M1 is probably one of those cars that really gets under your skin. it's 9000$ canadian less than a C63... not so sure about the value. I think that if you don't want to buy one, you should not do a test drive or you might just end up with one in your garage.

A friend just bought a 1M and though we've only had one track day so far this year he's a little rocket. They obviously lack in the straight line performance vs the C63 but in the twisties the C63 is in way over its head vs that car.
