Question for the DIYers.
What size socket is needed to take off the two huge front caliper bolts? I only have up to 19mm and 3/4 inch and it's too small.
I have the P31 brembo calipers if that makes any difference.
Thanks
Edit:
I used a 22mm socket to remove the calipers and a T30 torx to take off the rotor. To get the break dust out of the drilled rotors I used a .17 caliber bore brush.

Are these calipers different than the ones that come standard on non-P31 C63's?
Edit: Provided wrong measurments before. Sorry.

I'm taking the calipers off, there are 2 bolts on the engine facing side of the caliper. impossible to miss if you are looking at them so no need for a pic.
A mechanic friend is dropping off some larger sockets in the AM. Will let you know which one it is.

Nothing really... I had a free day and I decided that I was going to take the rotors off and clean the dust out of the drilled holes... They are drilled for a reason, might as well keep them like that. Also cleaned the wheels and wheel wells.

Nice!! I always clean my calipers & wheels when I switch my wheels in fall & spring time.
