Help deciding between two C's
Alright, I'm on the hunt for a used C63 and I've narrowed it down to two and it pretty well all boils down to mileage.
Car 1: 2009, Iridium Silver w/ Black Leather, Premium Pkg, Nav, 54000 km's (34000 miles), located in the same city as me, Asking $47900 CDN
Car 2: 2009, Iridium Silver w/ Black Leather, Premium Pkg, Nav, 29000 km's (18000 miles), located about a 6 hour drive from me (Not a huge deal to me but makes things slightly more complex), Asking $51500 CDN
I know the 63 engines seem to be pretty bullet proof but what value should I put on lower mileage? What do you guys think?

yeah remember service is time or mileage. so you are gonna get hit on either one of them if it hasnt been done yet. it was 1800 something for all the brake parts which the high mileage one will probably need shortly. i would take the high mileage one for 44-45. and like bush said spend the difference on an extended warranty.

Both seem to be pretty pristine and have the remainder of their 4 year/80000km warranty left. An extended warranty down the road may not be a bad idea.

Didn't think about that that's a great suggestion. Only downside to this is if you plan on selling the car in the next few years, it may be harder to move a higher mileage car, even w an extended warranty, especially if there are many on the market. Reference the massive drop 05 and 06 E55s took in 09.

+1 on the higher millage car and get extended warranty. As for the resale value issue, the two should not different too much. I believe the drop for 05/06 E55s in 09 was more deal to the new E63 than anything else.

Some people will argur, that mileage has less to do with the engine, and more to do with the transmission, drive line and suspension.
As the engine is well, bulletproof. One Man, One Engine!!
