My "new" 2009 C63 AMG
After owning a 2008 C63 and unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I was involved in a head on collision that totalled the car. Because I loved the C63 so much, I then bought another one. A 2009 with only 5000 miles on the odometer, LSD, no limiter, aluminum trim, P2, Napa leather package. I now have essentially the same car with less miles and more upgrades. I was looking at possibly an M3 sedan with dual clutch, but I could never replace the "true grit" that the C63 has. I truly love this car!

You know a car is a great one we are buying it more than once. Yeah, on my 2008 it was kind of cool to have the mirrors that folded in whenever you locked the car. Why did they get rid of that option? However, I'm not complaining. This new car is a beast. I've been thinking about getting a tune since I don't have the 30 extra horses that is normal to the p30. The cars got plenty of power, and it seems to be more under control when I placed the 275's on the rears. I really can't think of a better DD for me to have. I don't mind the sacrifice in MPG and rear tire life, given the "therapy" I get everyday after driving home from work.

Yeah, including Tax and license, I got paid out about the same that I bought my 2008 with more options and much less miles. Surprising really. That's why we pay insurance our whole lives. I really like the C and E 55's A lot of "umph" in a very clean, conservative fashion ( real sleepers).

Congrats my dear friend. Good to know your alive. I gotta say, Le Miserable was one of my favorite books reading it growing up and the story is so deep. My father kept yelling at me to read it when I was in highschool, and I kept dismissing him and blowing off the book. Finally I read it and was a changed person ever since...

"Men and Boys, are separated by the horsepower if their toys" and AMGs are the most fun, you could have under your right foot!

Les Miserables is about character. Something that I like to think that we all strive for. I enjoyed the Movie, but most of the characters still pale in comparison to the original London cast. But I'm a Les Miserables snob, having listened to the music hundreds of times and seen the broadway show quite a few times as well.
Only mods on the 09 have been a sprint booster, and now an OE tune that I haven't applied yet. I ordered the flash tuner last month, but have been too busy with life to tune the car yet. Should I be excited?

I haven't seen the movie yet, and I know what the director was trying to accomplish, but some of the review sound harsh.
A flash tuner should only take a couple of minutes. From what I read, the hp gains are very noticeable...something in the 60's?

was a 80-90 mph head on collision into a concrete barrier. Was on the Garden State Parkway late one night doing 100mph+ with minimal traffic when a van swerved 2 lanes over into my lane doing maybe 60 or 70...I wanted to avoid rear ending him so I cut the wheel to the right and went into major oversteer...tried to countersteer , but there was way too much force and not enough room so I oversteered to the left and slammed into the median head on. Although I was only 19 and still a relatively inexperienced driver, I am not sure I could have corrected that oversteer even now...thank God my girlfriend and I were wearing our seatbelts.
