Hi everyone, new to board and to the C63. Previously owned the ISF but it was time for more refinement. Does anyone know of a reputable CA shop that can perform an ECU flash?

Thanks for any feedback.

I think Sonic MS can do it. They're in Mountain View and great.

Any time. Where did you pick your car up from? Did you get a cpo?

Why don't you mail out your ecu? There are several sponsors here giving large discounts until June 30, 2011. I'll be at Sonic MS tomorrow

Yes, it's a cpo.....about 3 weeks ago from Pleasanton MB. Little chance to drive it with my travel schedule, but sure rides differently than the ISF.

Thanks again.

Thought about it but if the flash can be done local, I would minimize the downtime.

Any local meets with C63 owners?

Sorry for the confusion but Sonic would basically help you mail out your ecu and stuff so you'd still have to wait for the flash. I dont think there are local tuners.

Was that the 2009 steel grey one with park assist? If so, I was seriously considering that one until I picked up my 2009 CPO from Walnut Creek MB. That was a well optioned C63. I test drove ISF back in 2008. Nice car. Welcome to the AMG world!

Just out of interest what did you think of the ISF? I heard they are very reliable but are very few mods available

I don't think any in bay area can do a same day flash. Its not like southern CA... I rarely see any C63s in the bay area... wish there are more to have fun with...

Call Jeremy @ OE Tuning they do wonders with the C63 and AMG's in general.
You can also call James @ ACGSD, They do same day Kleeman tuning.
Both companies are located in California.

I'd be down with a local C63 get together. there's always Santana Row on Saturdays as well. This is a wonderful car we all got. In my city I've seen another black and a palladium silver C63 driving around over the past week.

That was a 2010. I test drove it. Almost bought it. But, they were asking too much and not a fan of that interior color. But, it was clean.

You are correct regarding the few options to add HP to the F. There was a couple turbo variants and a work in process supercharger project. As for me, just aftermarket exhaust and frame stiffeners. Excellent car with good power but the ride was tough and brakes noises hard to get used to. I would have loved to keep both but the wife said 'right'.

Got them to drop the price to a fair value (I thought)....I really like the interier color, just what I was looking for...tired of the black mono look.

Thanks for the input....I will do my research...I travel between NorCal and SoCal every weekend (Southwest special) so I'm really open to any option.

Too bad I am not home right now to drive my car, other wise you might see me around Santana Row and Steven Creeks too. However, I will be moving in Aug to the east coast...
