FS: KW V3 coilovers for C63
Hi all, this coilovers have been on my car for about 500km. almost brand new. no leaks / no damages. paid 3k for it here in Vancouver. Will let go at $2000 CAD.
Prefer to sell locally, but will ship if no local interests.
I am only selling this because i find it too stiff and it would be a waste if i don't go to tracks.

They're fully adjustable. Why not just adjust the dampening, and rebound till you find a ride you like?
I nave the H&R Coilover that are only height adjustable, and it rides MUCH better than stock. The V3's set correctly should be a beast at the track.

I tried setting it to the softest setting and still find it much stiffer than stock... I now have stock on the car and find it more suitable for me. people who tracks will love this coilovers.
i guess my track / drag era has gone.....

Break -in Time?
Any new suspension components will be overly stiff during the first few hundred kms. I would suggest that you put at least another 500 kms on the KWs and then make your decision. Just my 2cts. Hope that it helps.

weird I find it still too stiff even at softest setting. maybe I didn't adjust the rebound setting correctly. That maybe explains why I feel the car would go up and down twice everytime it goes over a bump. made me dizzy....
in any case, I have already taken it out of the car. so it is still for sale !!

shipping + duty + brokerage fee + HST to Canada isn't cheap. that was why i paid 3k for the set here in Vancouver.
good to live in the States where everything is relatively cheap~

I know exactly what you mean. I sold mine KW2 only after 2 weeks installed on mine Clk500. For some reason, I adjusted to the softest setting and it was still stiffer then stock suspension even after 2 weeks break-in.

shipping should be about $50-60 from WA to CA. I will ship from Point Roberts WA 98281 to save shipping charges for buyer.

If the car is driven on the street 90% of the time with light track duties I would go with H&R coilovers since they are only height adjustable.
I really don't see a point why you would need to adjust the dampening and rebound if your mostly driving the car on the streets. If you go to tracks then I think the KW's are worth it.

I should have known this about myself, but I simply miss having the option to change my settings... My DD is a 2000 maxima with 4-way adjustable kyb-agx shocks and I used to play with them quite a bit... Settled down now but I miss having that ability
Will i track? Probably not but it's easier to have the option and not use it, rather than not have it and wish you did
