What's my car's worth?
I've been thinking about selling my car for a while. Now I'm 100 percent sure that I want to sell it. What would be a realistic selling price for my car?
2010
Almost 7000 miles
Black/Black
Original owner
Warranty till 09/14
68k msrp
All options except Performance pack, keyless go and rear view camera
Thanks for your input.

Sounds about right at current market. Mb's have really bad depreciation. Friend of mine just picked up an 09 Slk 280 with like 10k miles for 25k. She really lowballed the dealer lol.

50-51 trade in, 46-47 applies for 09 models
55 private
57 retail
black is a popular color, which you get a bit more than other colors when you trade in
other popular colors are white and silver

+1...I picked up my 2010 with 11000 miles a month ago. The dealer paid 52K for it on trade. I don't think there is a 2010 listed on cars.com for less than 54.

My friend offered me 50k for trade in. I guess I should accept it and save 3500 on the tax.
I can't decide what to buy after the 63 though, that's the problem.

I changed 4 cars in last 4 years. I just like to change my car often. 63 is the best car in the world for its value in my opinion. Every morning I start the engine I have a huge smile. The sound is amazing.

Your best bet it to trade it in. You get the tax savings on your next purchase and you can get a better deal because they want to make the sale. If they wont come up on your trade tell them to come down on the price of the car you are buying.
I got 50K for my 2009 with 12K miles. No P30. I paid 55K for my 2010. Good luck.

I went the reverse route. Had an 08 M3 prior. I'd say with the exception of the M-DCT tranny I like pretty much everything else about the C63 more. I looked at the M5 briefly but it's outdated now and too big for my tastes. Good Luck!

He offered you a straight up trade in for 50K without you buying another car? Jump on it.

I bought my C63 by your assistance pretty much, thanks again Jim.
He is my good friend and he said he can take it for 50k without buying another car. He will assist me to buy my next car anyway.
You are right but what else can I get? Also keep in mind that our cars have 60~ msrp when M5's have 100~ msrp.
I drove an M3 for a week. I agree with you, other than dct C63 is so much better than the M.
