Removing the secondaries wont give you any more performance and removing the resonators make the car sound like crap in my opinion and does nothing for performance either.

My car currently has the fastest tune only time with the OE tune. But as with all records they are there to be beat. MHP had it before me.
Eurocharged has the V3 now. I haven't seen any track data from it though. Only Dyno. Dyno doesn't really tell the whole story.
MHP or OE tuning if I were you.

Regarding the tune, I just got the Eurocharged V3 tune and I'm loving it...haven't had ample track time to really run plus i'm running street rubber but the power increase is SUBSTANTIALLY greater than stock. Also did K&N and CD.

your tune only record is a little deceiving...wasn't it on skinnies, DRs, weight reduction? etc. They way you talk about a tune only record you should mention all other mods because some of those are bigger than the tune. Congrats btw... To the OP i'd go with Eurocharged (mine) or OE based on price, service, and results. If you plan on LTs consider getting MHP tune and matching headers combo....all three of those are good.

Nothing deceiving about it.

I too just got my EC V3 update, and the car is MUCH stronger than the previous EC tune. Where it really shines is 4th, and up. Jerry has also been very, very quick with turn around, and responding to all emails.

potential c63 coupe buyer here. any opinions on doing this to a brand new car? i am most worried about voiding warranty (obviously) but also how will this affect the car later down the road after say 20-30k miles put on it?
on another note, sweet 1/4mile video! the c63 really takes off from the bat!

Yes the C63 with drags on it in cool dry weather really moves. A must to experience your car at least once on the track.

In my opinion for a warranty perspective tune only is the worst modification you can do. Not disagreeing but, you pull the ecu open it reprogram it put it back in? That unit controls every part of the car

Other than that you cant do anything without the tune. How could tune only be the worst modification? You need to tune to do anything else. Unless you mean esthetic mods like hoods and trunks.
When I bring my tune only to the MB dealer with a warranty issue and you bring in your headered catless car that is so loud it will wake up half the neighborhood on the way in to the dealer who do you think is going to get turned away? Me or you?
When talking about performance mods the more you mod the bigger chance you have of being denied a warranty claim. Exhaust work and cat deletes almost guarantees a denied claim unless you know the SA. We have seen it on the forum before.

Each ecu is vim coded if you own 2 mb knows about it! Exhust is most likely the safest mid u could ever do for warranty issues. Intake and tune most likely the worst.. I would never bring my cat in for warranty work after the extent if what I've done to the car., I've voided it long ago I no the risks and wouldn't want anyone else to pat for then..
Not if you own 2 ECU's.
