I'm pulling the diff in my 08 C63 for fitment of an LSD. I note that the driveshafts are splined both ends suggesting that the rear suspension needs breaking down to allow the withdrawal of the shafts from the output splines of the diff. Can anyone provide a high level outline of the procedure? I want to do this at my place and have the diff only to the diff specialist as I don't want the car on his lift (an old dude who knows his stuff but with one lift and does not want to take on the removal part of the job).
