Going to miss my old C63 when it goes!...But out with old and in with the new.

I didn't know MB was still producing 2011? I thought they are all 2012 on the production line?

He's in the UK. Their MY2011 is our MY2012.

I would drop a email to the AMG Academy and ask them for recommendations on routes home as they run "Emotion" and "Passion" events which are street events with some pretty nice routing. Ask about the route/roads they use for the SLS Emotion event and that should give you some feedback as to decent routes to take. I would have recommended the A3 north which at the right time of day is great for very high speed runs but this might be out if you follow "break-in" period guidelines.
