OMG I just got one of my dream cars..an AMG C63 Affalterbach edition! This limited run of 30 cars features: 481HP, 0-60 in 4.4 sec, no speed limiter, custom paint, carbon fibre spoiler and mirrors, 19" custom wheels, red brake calipers, Affalterbach headrests, shift knob, and red interior stitching!


I first saw it at the Toronto Autoshow..i believe mine is the one that was on display!

To bad it never came with the 2012 interior. I had my eye on it when it came out but I was waiting till they changed the interior/exterior

I almost bought this edition in March, saw the 2012 interior and upgrades, then it wasnt easy... deposit and the longest few months later... Couldnt be more blown away at how nice the 2012 interior really is.

Congratulations. However, I believe you don't have the 7 speed MCT transmission. That only comes with the facelifted cars starting with 2012 model year. You have the 7 speed Speedshift Plus automatic transmission.

just saw the comments about the interior..i looked at the 2012 but i actually like the flip up screen better than the integrated one..dunno, i just preferred to get a special edition than a 2012.

congratulations on your new ride. It really is a head turner... Was it new when you got it or is it a demo/lease return? How many miles on the beast? Don't forget to change diff oil if it is not already done (recommanded at 2500 km)...

it had about 11500kms on it. i was advised to change the fluid at 15,000KM

By any chance are you planning on wrapping it with a clear bra? That matte paint is tough to keep up just in terms of cleaning but also if it gets damage by even something as little as rock chips, you'll be to say the least. So I would suggest protecting at least the front and back if not the whole car.

The only thing that kinda sucks about having such a nice car is the constant stress of worrying about wear and tear. It really bothers me. OP, how do you feel about it?
