C63 for Xmas.
2012 C63 - Australia
Hi
Just a checkin with the Australian contingent on how people are approaching a changeover to the 2012 model.
What ballpark are you seeing as the cost-of-change to the new model.
As we all know the sticker price vs the trade-in value is an elastic conversation - it all comes down to change over costs.
Keen for fellow forum members thoughts and experiences.

Have been half wondering the same thing but have decided to wait until I can line up a test drive - when of course the conversation will quickly head to talking a few numbers with the sales guy!!
As you say it will all come down the the changeover price but my best guess is that
(1) there is likely to be little wiggle room on the new car price given the runaway success of AMG vehicles in Australia in the last 2+ years
(2) trade in prices on older models always take a hit when there is a model upgrade, but perhaps this effect will be all the more marked with the C63 now having a coupe model on offer
