See Classifieds - C63/C55 Rear Pair Dunlop WinterSport SP Snow Tires (265/35/18) $260

FS: C63 C55 w203 w204 Rear Pair Dunlop WinterSport SP Snow Tires (265/35/18) - $260

As some of you may know, I recently was in an accident with my C55 which totaled the car. I am selling the REAR set of beefy Dunlop WinterSport SP snow tires that have less than 7000 miles on them. The set will fit both the rear stock C63 and C55 rims. The size is 265 35 18 and again, they are Dunlop Wintersport SPs (discontinued). Are in great shape (9/10), plus they have been stored indoors throughout the off season. They were not run above 45 degree temperatures and were never run out of season.

These tires got me through 8+ inches of snow and falling last season when I got stuck at work in a snow storm and helped me get home safely. I am buying another set of the Dunlop WinterSport M3s (same tire, different name) for my Crossfire to fit the 19" rear rims.

$260 for the pair seems reasonable, since they probably have 3 more seasons on them at least if you only drive them during the freezing months, and new from tire rack (they have been discontinued) but they sold for around $300 a piece.

Please PM me for details. Local pick-up in the NoVA area is good or shipping will be extra - probably $50 - $60.

See pics here (they still look the same): c63 snow tires

Still no bites in the classifieds. If interested, please PM me. Winter is coming - you don't want to be stuck with summer (or IMO, all-season) tires when the snow starts falling.

I think the reason you have no bites is because those tires are very wide for snow rubber. As you may now, narrower is better when driving in the snow...most drivers opt for factory spec or narrower in the rear for winter rubber on these cars. GLWS, though!

Thanks for the input. I did do research about buying a narrower winter tire but ended up not being able to pass up this deal. That being said, these tires saved my butt more than once and got me home one night in a blizzard where I was driving in 8 inches of snow and falling - so I know they work well, just maybe not as well as narrower tires.

Well, I figured who needs snow tires when you can have a Jeep Wrangler? Just picked up a Jeep Wrangler SE 1999 on Saturday and will now be selling the entire set of snow tires that I know will fit C55 and any w204 w/18" rims.

Wasn't getting any interest on just the two rear tires but now that we are looking at the entire winter set I think we should be good to go.

Rears: 265/35/18
Fronts: 235/40/18

$425 with local pick-up. $425 + shipping for out of area sales.

Please PM me if you're interested.

Might as well be prepared now that Snowtober has hit the Northeast - do you really want to be stuck again with your summer rubber?

Cheers.
