Name the killer power combo please.
I am thinking of trading in or modding my 07 E63 but I want to see what you guys have.
My idea was to see what the cost and combo is for the C63 to make great power and still be a daily driver?
I was thinking shop for good deals on a complete full exhaust, airboxes, tune, and a 100-150 shot of gas.A progressive controller of course to save parts splattering the road ways. That should satisfy the need a bit for now?
Otherwise I was thinking of selling the 63 and finding a new CTS-V coupe,Jag XF-R,

MHP LTs and mids - 3400
MHP Tune - 2000
Eurocharged Tune - 750?
Nitrous system with controller - 2-2.5k installed
No airbox really worth it
Weistec supercharged - 15k not installed
If your going to mod that heavily I'd consider ctv sedan

I have no problem dumping the whole $10K at once for all those mods if the gains are good. The $15K for the blower is a bit much for a blower kit only.

if I would do it again i'd prob drop 15k on the blower and call it a day...you will walk most modded CTSv or just get the CTSv next time around and spend 5k and walk just about anything. The NA setup will let you keep with a tuned CTSv, but thats about it. Still super fast but what are your expectations

I don't ever hear anyone mention the transmission. Can the tranny in this vehicle handle the extra power and abuse from boltons/tune let alone the Weistec supercharged? I'm talking about daily driving and longevity of it, will the tranny hold up over time?

2014 Audi RS7
MHP Long Tube Headers and mids (no cats)
MHP CDT V3 Tune
MHP intake gaskets
Carbonio or ROW air boxes.
Light weight 2 piece brake rotors all the way around.
Lighter wheels ( stock are terribly heavy)
Thats plenty to stay with the caddies.
If thats not enough add a MHP progressive NOS kit. That will take care of your speed needs.
Then start the weight loss etc.............
Good Luck!

Adding the blower to a stock car does not add as much power as the mods I've listed in the post above. Blower will give you 450rwhp on 91 octane and 470rwhp on 93 octane. You've got to add them all together to get the total package. Start with the bolt on department and then go from there. The blower cost much more and won't add as much power to a "stock" car.
I love the blower, don't get me wrong. However to get the big power numbers you have to put the right package together. Then its all jeopardizing the daily drivabilty and the tranny limits.
Good luck!

The transmission has its limits when your doing alot of power, it will start to slip, etc...
AMG got it right with the 55's and 65's, they have VERY strong transmissions.

Power is not everything. I sold a C6 Z06 with a lot engine mods and one of the reasons why I sold it is because it was simply undriveable. We are talking about guning it at 75 mph and having to correct the steering. We are talking about going through the 1/8 of mile and the 330ft mark and risking my car and my life still trying to not hit the wall.
I think the C63 power delivery is very adecuate. A C63 with a good tune and a simple cat removal pipe and air filters can step on the toes of a CTS-V. A cadillac with a Pulley and a tune maybe be a bit quicker but like I said before, too much power is too much to handle.
