Price of replacement rotors - WTF

Just planning ahead as I would like to track my future C63 Performance Package (Canada) with the upgraded brakes from time to time.

Checking on the price of front rotors, SCARY!

Are there aftermarket option that are priced resonantly as the MB parts are absolutely ridiculous. This will discourage anyone from really using this car to its potential.

Maybe it's reasonable to negotiate a spare set of rotors when buying the 2012 C63 :-)

Just burn them up in the first 2 years and you get replacements for free.

I'm sitting at 41K on my E63 two piece rotors, and they are still in great shape. The pads have about 40% life left in them. And my C63 is at 15K on rotors and pads, right now. Granted I don't track my cars, but I do drive them very aggressively.

Its a good thing these rotors last. Could get 80k miles on them. My C63 has 22k now. Still original pads-plenty left.

A few lapping days on the track can make a big difference

Track miles = street milesx250 as far as pad and rotor wear...
