Just installed (shop charged $40) the MBH X-pipe that I got from Jakio yesterday to go along with my K2 manifolds/cats. Sound-wise, it removes a majority of the raspiness and sounds smoother, however, your presence is still known when you hammer the throttle. Kind of reminds me of my friend's E92 with Gintani axle- back exhaust but louder volume-wise. Drove it around yesterday (a lowered M45 w/exhaust wanted to play and we punched it a bit but I let him move ahead due to traffic and he sped away) and can't tell if it added any noticeable power but it feels smoother from about 3000 RPM and up. Will need to put it up on the dyno (421.75 WHP with K1 tune only) and see what it has now.

You will not be able to use the stock crossbrace and need to call Mike to get a replacement brace. I suppose you could leave the brace out as the only purpose it serves is to prevent the exhaust from dropping should it ever crack and separate.

Hey Mike I totally forgot, weren't you supposed to send me a cross member for my MBH X pipe?
I'm still using spacers on my stock cross member and its really cutting close to hitting the X pipe.

I thought I did hmmm. If I didn't or you didn't receive one I will gladly send you one. Shoot me your info and I will look into it. If something happened in transit, lapse on my end, or they are not being boxed up with the Xpipes. I will for sure fix that in a jiffy.

Thanks man, When I received my package it only came with an X pipe I remembered you offered to hook me up with a cross member when the X pipe was rubbing up against the stock one.

sounds good. I may have to go with K2 cats and manifolds. My car was way too loud with no secondary cats and xpipe replacing the resonator but this might be the magic mix.

you still have factory secondary cats right?

No. X-pipe replaces secondaries and stock all the way back.I don't notice any drone while crusiing on the freeway either.

I rode in Jeffield's car up in Vancouver and that is loud. He is running straight pipes from the exhaust manifolds to resonator.

Sounds awesome! I just ordered the MBH X-pipe...the K2's might be my next mod. Still waiting on confirmation from MBH that money was received and that it is shipping soon
