2012 C63 Coupe P31/P32 no CF trunk spoiler?
Hey guys,
Just went to see my c63 coupe two days ago and it didnt have a CF trunk spoiler... on the package it listed P32 not P31 so I assumed that is because of the forged internals. Kind of bothers me that it didnt have a CF trunk spoiler although the brake calipers are painted red. Anyone notice the same thing on their?

Mine came with the CF spoiler, and I do find it kind of weird that yours did not have it. I do understand there is the option to have it removed from the package, maybe you should check with your agent again.

Really strange that you would get the old wheels (first coupe I have seen with them) and not have the carbon spoiler. This kind of stuff would make me worry that other things are "correct" about the car.

I have seen two P31 coupes in Canada and both had the carbon fiber spoiler and one had the new style 18s (the other had 19s). Maybe P32 is the designation for the coupes (although I thought it was P31) but it is still missing items that a performance package coupe should have based on what I have seen.

When I was discussing build dates with my dealer in August he told me that there were issues with the CF spoiler (might be specific to US?) and some earlier build dates would not have them included. Your dealer really should have told you if it wasn't going to have one. Ask the dealer if they can order the part through the parts department and installer it there.

Well I am from Canada and my C63 Coupe came with P31, it was clearly stated on the documentation. My coupe was also part of the first shipment to arrive in canada (September 2011). Currently there are only 20 AMG Coupes counting Edition 1's according to my agent.

and about your carbon fiber trunk spoiler, I believe a few of the early 2012's with p31/p32 won't have it because of the supplier/production issues. my car came with it.
but that is still a gorgeous coupe and I would still go for it. you can always buy an aftermarket spoiler.

I would still get it. It looks beautiful and I like the old wheels better especially on white. Make them just order a cf spoiler and put it on.

my 2012 also has the older style 18 inch wheel. just to make it clear, the new 2012's have both of the 18 inch wheel styles as an option for coupe and sedan. I personally prefer the older style because the face is more concave.

I agree though, I'd take the car and get a discount from the dealer. Then use that money and get a Vorsteiner cf spoiler.
