12.219 @116!
I went out to Napierville dragway today, and it was a tonne of fun. First run of the day, pulled a 12.2! The car has a tune, a set of coilovers, and some bald bridgestone street tires on the back (19's).
I was aiming for a mid-12, so obviously I'm pretty ecstatic about it. There were a bunch of interesting cars there, but mainly supercharged mustangs and chargers. Not a bad way to spend the day.
Timeslip was:
r/t 0.677
60ft 2.020
330ft 5.319
1/8et 7.999
1/8mph 91.95
1000ft 10.29
1/4et 12.219
1/4mph 116.26
Pretty happy all the way around with that one. Ran a bunch of 12.5's, and then the tires went on me, and I had some troubles.

Nice run! It's definitely addictive.
I hit up my local crappy track to take advantage of the cool weather last night and ended up making 21 passes before getting the boot for no cage haha

Thanks!
To be honest, I have very little desire to get DR's. My favorite part of drag racing is closing the gap on the big end, and DR's kind of take that away. Plus, on my old car, I had full slicks and it kind of took the fun out of drag racing.
1) find the max rpm you can launch at
2) side step clutch
3) pin it.
Wash rinse repeat, and you're a bracket racer.
Plus, I'm too lazy to change tires!

Nice numbers - I am also Eurocharged and am reporting the same 1/4 mile times as you. I've been hovering in the low 12.3 for some time...last week I ran an identical 1/8th mile as you (1/4 mile shut down due to an engine oil/tranny spill) which should put me in the low 12.2s as well.
I've experienced a 4 mph trap improvement as well although I am a little surprised that we're not trapping as high as some of the other tuned C63s around here.

Nice runs. Better traction (slicks) should not help MPH, only lower ET's. In my experiences at the track, better traction can sometimes lower MPH. Either way those are great times.
