Hi all,
Seeing the dealer soon. Just want to prepare for what to ask for.
I believe invoice is roughly 4K south of MSRP. What kind of deal should I be looking for? Is it reasonabl to assume I can get 2K off of MSRP? Any other bargaining points I should focus on? RV, MF, extra fees, etc... This will be for a lease c63 coupe. Also, many argue for a higher RV to lower monthly payments, but if I fall in love with the vehicle and wish to purchase, would this not be counterproductive?

I would suggest that you STFF MBWorld what vehicles, especially new model introductions, have gone for in the past in your neck of the woods (hint; it would help to display your location in your profile). Otherwise you'll get opinions from all over the country that aren't necessarily applicable.

well, i just got one in dallas and the mark up was 6% so thats $4680 dollar mark up. i wasnt able to get them to come off of the msrp but i did get them to come up $5000 on my trade in from my original quote.

if i didnt have a trade in, i dont think i would have gotten any discount. they were pretty firm on that because there is alot of demand for these babies right now, especially in large cities.

hey, im not from there but i heard from a friend saying that TOPS is 1% may be 1.5% from the actual price..

yeah I was wondering, I was looking at old threads from c63 amg sedans and it seems they had great deals, looks like I'll not have much to bargain with ... (sigh)

I found out yesterday that if you go through the costco program, the cost is $300 above invoice. I'm placing my order later on this week
