Hi all,
Just curious what your thoughts are on this?

Reason I ask, getting close to purchasing a c63 amg coupe.
I am torn between black and palladium silver exterior, however, I am in LOVE with the designo, red/black interior..
IMHO, black looks better with the red/black interior, however palladium looks fantastic..
Any thoughts on whether palladium silver ext w/ red/black is a good match?

Exterior is far more important; I'm one of the few that's not a fan of red interior.


Edit: To answer your question, I personally think red interior only matches well with black and white exteriors.

With palladium silver I would go with an all black interior.
I'm not a big fan of red and black interior.

I disagree, you use your interior 99% of the time and the exterior 1% when you walk toward your car. So the bottom line for you is who cares about what other thinks, and go for whatever you like on the inside. I personally would love to have a blue exterior with the red/black interior (but the white/black one works too.)

IMO get the interior you like first as you spend all of your time inside the car. I went with red/black and have seen a car in person with this color and it is stunning. Unlike others, I think the red/black would look fine with any exterior color (except red and blue). It would look best with black and white but nice with any color. I went Obsidian black exterior because I think black cars look mean and silver/light gray blend in too much.

Palladium and red/black look phenomenal. You can also do the Sand/Black interior, which is slightly less sporty and more sophisticated.

My favorite interior of all of the cars I've had was my E46 M3 Coupe in Jet Black with the Cinnamon interior, so I'm no stranger to bold interiors.

Go for it - it will look stunning.

So many great opinions, I love it.

Yeah, I'm very torn with the exterior color, I've watched hours worth of Palladium Silver videos/pics and have really fallen in love with it.
However, I know that the black/red interior with the black exterior is simply stunning as well! I HATE this feeling of not knowing... I appreciate all the comments, keep 'em coming. Will let you know after Saturday when I decide.

Both. Acting in harmony. If/when it arrives, our new GLK will have the Palladium exterior with grey/black interior. We had two good examples of this combination, SLK350 & C sedan, on the dealer's lot for confirmation at the time of ordering.
That said, if a red interior had been an option, I would have lobbied hard for it. However, I think the Minister of the Interior would have vetoed red in favor of the more subdued, understated grey.

I'm not a fan of the red interior either, but Palladium Silver does look nice. I have a Obsidian Black C63, with the Sahara Beige leather interior. Black definitely looks good on a nice sunday day, when all cleaned up. I would definitely get the color that you desire, because ultimately your making the car payments, not us. I would ask the dealer, if you could get the car in the color combination of your choosing.
