I drove the new 63 coupe yesterday and was impressed with this car. I ordered a 63 sedan (should be here mid Dec) so I wanted to get an idea of how that car will be. All I can say is I was totally pleased with the updated car. I had a 2009 c63 and the new model feels even better. The transmission felt fantastic-smooth and quick in all modes and the ride was more comfortable than the 09. The car also felt quicker and I think the transmission accounts for that. Fast car and fun to drive!

I agree, I had an hour long solo test drive yesterday of a c63 coupe and was pretty impressed. It looks fantastic, I particularly like the versed bonnet rather rha the rounded bulges. Having experienced the transmission in my SL63 I knew that was going to be great. I also agree the car felt faster than my 09 model did in stock form. Having a Sport+ mode in the gear biz is a big improvement. It sounded a bit quieter in cruising mode bit had equal ferocity when you step on it. The exhaust note was also slightly differentbut I don't know why. The cabin layout is attractive although it did feel like the steering wheel was bigger than 09 car which felt a bit unusual. The panoramic sunroof is a great idea too.
Great car, can't even imagine how food the Black Series will be, my finger is on the trigger..
