Anbody Achieved the Book Gas Figures

Just Curious to know if any of you with the new model have managed to achieve the 32mpg gas figures quoted in book or close to it.
Best I can do is 25.5mpg at 65mph

I know you dont buy one of these to drive it with slippers on, although this model is better than my old 2008 model by 3mpg.

I have a 2010 sedan and best I have ever got was 23 mpg @ 70 mph on cruise control in comfort mode...but my average is somewhere around 15 mpg haha but thats pretty crazy that the new models are getting somewhat better mpg

I have done a lot of private testing and 27mpg is the best I got(see the attached link on post #13):

https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ty-19-hwy.html

I think that you are refering to the 32 MPG for the other fuel comspution test done by most of the rest of the world car magazines which they do the following gas test:

Urban driving
mixed driving
90km/h gas compsuption test
120km/h gas comsuption test

My 27 mpg was obtained at 65mph (104km/h). If I were to drop to 56 mph (90km/h) I probably would get 29 mpg. The 32mpg that you cross referenced is unrealistic unless it was driven a low speeds. My .2c

It couldn't get 32mgp if it were dropped off a cliff with the engine turned off and a tail wind.
