C63 vs. CLK63 Black Series
Just a feeler here. Thinking of swapping my c63 for a clk63 black series. What do you guys reckon? My c63 is a red 09 with 25K kilometers and has following mods:
Carbon fiber trunk and vented hood
DTM bumper with LED and carbon inserts
Carbon intake
strut bar
custom red seat belt
MHP LT
MHP catback
MHP t-stat and gasket
MHP v3
KW lower springs
Clear bra protection and carbon roof and grill
Blacked out chrome trim and wheels
The clk63 is bone stock!

Understand that CLK63 BS, is essentually a race car for street use. I have a friend that has one, it's stiffer then your C63, not a daily driver's car for say. If it was me, that had your opportunity, I would go for it personally. It's a Black Series after all, limited production run, something like 399 delivered to the US. If I was to come into some money, I would definitely get that over the C63 Black Series Coupe, I just think that it looks better over all. IMHO

The clk63 BS in question for the trade actually belongs to a friend of mine. I've driven it and even raced him with my C63. I was ahead by at least 4/5 car lengths minimum. But then again this is street racing and not on the track. I guess if i show some pictures of my C63 it would make people understand why I love the C63 so much especially after all the mods and work i've put into her. If only there as much mods out there or a competitive enough range of LTH's for the CLK out there then i guess I wouldn't be posting this. Power kind of matters to me most at the end.

If you're drag racing, the 2 cars are close. The C63 shifts faster so it's a little faster in a straight line (P31 or chipped C63 vs stock CLK 63 BS).
If you add corners to the mix, the CLK has a higher exit speed and it'll put the power down better, so it'll be carlengths ahead, and the C63 won't have a chance to catch up at all. Not even a fair run. This is true even on the street. I lent the C63 to my bro and we drove around together a lot over the summer.
If you're looking for a drag car, don't bother.
