New Owner 2012 c63 w Development Package
Happy owner of a a new C63. Traded in my 2010 Shelby GT500. Loving everything about it so far, except for crazy rattles in 4 separate places on the dash! Anyone else have these annoying squeaks?

Congratulations! we just got one ourselves. I heard a rattle one time by the glove compartment but I just rearrange my things in there and it was gone. Try that. :-)

WOW!! what a beautiful car and what a radical car change too. How come you changed from an already fast Shelby GT500 to the benz? My car also have rattle noises mainly from the cluster is that makes you feel better. Mine is a 09 model.

I find it hard to beleive none of you have rattles, mine has 13K miles and has a few rattles, it's more noticeable when it's cold outside

I traded in the Shelby because it really wasn't my style. It was the first domestic sports car I owned in roughly 15 years. Every other sports car I've owned were imports. I've had two M3's, a Porsche 911, Nissan 350Z, etc. They were all second cars, so I didn't drive them daily.
The Shelby was a beast but didn't really handle well. The refinement level didn't match the german cars, and that's what I am looking for at the age of 43. Also, it was a very loud color, and I got sick of it really quick. There was only one car in the LA area with that color combo, and I stuck out too much. The odd thing is my 911 Carrera S was Speed Yellow, and I didn't stick out as much as the Grabber Blue Shelby GT500. Porsche's are a dime a dozen here, so that helped me blend in, I guess. Many people looked down on the Shelby GT500, which didn't really bother me as much as me not ever having alone time in the car without feeling like I was being stared at constantly. The Benz allows me to blend back in and get back to picking my nose at a traffic light, if so desire without being stared at! lol
Anyway, you can't really compare the two as far as handling. Acceleration was crazy on both. Difference is the Shelby had traction issues which made 0-60 times suffer. And the rear axle was horrible. I'm happy with the C63 for the moment, and hope to fall completely in love once I get these rattle issues handled.
I've attached a pic of my Shelby GT500

There is NO car made anywhere that won't have a squeek or two over time. Some have them right away but on cars like this it is unusual but they all egt them eventually.

I'm ok with a "squeak or two" but this is really ridiculous! I have a serious rattle in the vicinity of the speedometer, the glove box is squeaking like crazy, the radio pod, has a serious squeak, and i have yet to find the fourth one.
In addition to the sports cars, my primary cars were the BMW 525, Audi A4, etc. I have been fortunate to have roughly 16 new cars. None of them had as many rattles, squeaks, and noises as this new C63 for some reason. Even the lowly Shelby GT500 didn't have squeaks!
Anyway, I hope to get it sorted soon.

that's really strange that you go these squeaks. were they there when you test drove the car? I always make sure to drive any vehicle without the radio on to make sure.
I'm in LA too ! I've had 2 M3's, 1 S4- so i've stuck with germans for sports coupes/sedans. thought about the cts-v but fell in love with the c63. Did u try another vehicle before getting the c63?
