Wow! I like how you kept the crease going down the center of the scoop to match the hood. The boxes look clean to. Man that's a lot of work. Looks good!

Reminds me of top-mount intercoolers on the STi's. That scoop is probably the best way to get air and dissipate engine heat. You might want to integrate some kind of mesh grill underneath that scoop to prevent debris from flying into the engine.

Wouldn't want this happening:

ROFLMAO!!! Poor chick!
Anyways, that scoop is totally aweinspiring!
How will it be held onto the hood?
I could use some serious air to cool my engine in this heat in south east Asia!

Starting to come along nicely. It looks awesome but also reveals that you are one sick puppy. Can't wait to see the finished product and the resulting power increases.

A quick update. Dave's been slammed at his shop but he finally got time to spend a few more hours on it last night. Getting ready to paint and then attach the scoop. The scoop is only taped on there for reference purposes right now. Should be done by the middle of next week.

Looks a little more subtle than Jcarts one on his Black Series. Looks great Keith. Looking forward to seeing it painted at seeing what improvements it makes to your times!

Thanks!!
I can't wait either. I've been on the side lines too long waiting for these projects to get completed. Time for some more 1/4 mile racing. Gotta give Mike something to think about.

He keeps setting the bar lower and lower and lower and lower and lower.................

However, great job Mike. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
