09' C63 AMG, 00' S2000 (track toy)
Just got the Eurocharged tune...

Let me first off start by giving Mike from Eurocharged Canada a big thank you. The customer service was above and beyond. It's a real pleasure to deal with people that are passionate about what they do. Since I was going to be in the Toronto area on the weekend with a friend, I decided to remove my ECU and take it with me. Mike and I met a local Starbucks, I gave him my ECU and he returned later with the ECU tuned.

I was eager to get home and reinstall in the ECU. (Super easy BTW, 5min job in and out). As soon as started the car in the garage I noticed a difference in the sound. The cold start melody we all talk about just became more pronounced. As I pulled out onto the road I noticed how much more responsive the throttle was relative to peddle movement. All I needed was the car to warm up so I could mash the throttle. Well let me say, this was a fast car now it's even faster! The car accelerated to red line with authority. The rear tires finally got full grip as I shifted to third (esp off). The car just sounds and feels unrestricted! From 3000+ rpm is where I noticed the real improvement in acceleration, a complete animal in the top end...make sure to keep an eye on that speedometer. After many WOT starts I let my friend have a turn, if you think it feels fast behind the wheel try sitting in the passenger seat...

What a great mod! Anyone hesitating to get this done...just do it!

As hard as I try I have been unable to find anywhere that a warranty claim has been denied because of an ECU flash.....

Mike is an awesome guy, he probably would have offered to come to you if you weren't coming up to Toronto.

as for warranty issues, i work on these cars all day long, I have yet to see a warranty denial due to a ECU tune.

Maybe removing the ECU resets all the adaptations including cold start? Maybe from not hearing the car start for a few days? Wishful hearing?

No big deal really, just enjoy the tune!

It's not wishful hearing, the car certainly has more bark on startup. It's very noticeable in the garage. Different air/fuel mapping...?

As a V3 customer I can vouch. I've got about 3K miles on my tune and it's a definite improvement in every way over stock (except MPG of course!) but I suspect that's more my right foot's fault than the tune.

No these things are real and not wishful hearing. even on a completely stock s500 my wife and i noticed right away that the car had a tad more pull and more agresive engine sound. and that was not after having the car sit for a week waiting for the ecu to come in, this was a 5 minute plug and go tune from eurocharged back in the last few days of them being in chicago.

had the v3 on my other car and i feel you man. amazing pull on the top end. especially when you are used to the throttle body limiter on the stock ecu.
