Competition for the new Coupe....
Man....I'm not a BMW guy (even though i have an M3) but this rendering of the next M6 looks beefy....

They're sayin....
"We suspect that the M6 will get a 4.4 liter V8 engine, similar to that found in the new M5. Power should see a healthy increase with closer to 600 hp available to the rear wheels. 0-100km/h is expected to be reached in less than four seconds and the usual BMW top speed limitations will also apply."

I like but pricewise its not going to be comparable at all... estimate 30-40k more.

Sorry, but that M6 is just gaudy...it has zero class. The M3, on the other hand, I'm feeling a little more!

Will they ever learn to spread out the exhausts which will make the car look thicker and beefier?!!!!! I hate the Middle of the Rear exhaust set ups that they have on the M3...spread it Godammit!!!!!! Now thats looking hottt!!!!

I was at Center BMW in Van Nuys a few weeks ago and was looking on as a Alpine White 650i with the M aero package was being delivered. It was gorgeous...photos simply don't do it justice. What's interesting is that the nose of the car has many different design elements clamoring for attention, but in the flesh, as busy as they seemingly are, they all work together perfectly harmoniously. There was a rationale in my mind for every styling detail to be the way it is....based on this I expect the M6 to be a stunner. IMHO.

nice. ive always liked the lines of the m6. ill take a look at this for real if it can go more than 200 miles on a tank like the current one does. bigger gas tank bmw.

Same here. I love the outgoing M6 model. It's one of my favorite cars.
