I've been wanting to color-match my sidemarkers for a long time. I had even bought some Evosport painted markers from a fellow member and had to return them due to chips & scratches. I was going to have my auto painting friend paint them for but just was too lazy to remove them and drive up to his shop. I had some commercial grade sign vinyl lying around (use it for eyebrows on my old car) so I gave it a try. Not perfect, but better than before.
